Memories Through The Lens
Water Drop Project
Starting with water drop photography is fairly easy, you need nothing more than a camera and a system to release water drops: You have 2 main options for this. You can use a water bottle and punch a tiny hole in that. In this case, you won’t have any control over drop size and the time interval between two drops.
The other option is a water drop photography kit like MIOPS Splash Water Drop Kit. It’s a smartphone controllable water drop kit that can control not only the size and interval of drops but also trigger your camera or flash at the accurate moment.
In the video below examples are shown and the process is explained.
MIOPS app:
Showing the size and delays of the drops and the delay for the trigger, One has to first set up the first drop and check that visualy. Only after that the controls for the second drop are added . And when there is a repetable collision the flash trigger control is added.
